Brescia Program Students
Connect with our in-house Brescia Counsellor
Hello, and welcome!
My name is Mary Ann, and I was an Academic Advisor at Brescia prior to our integration. During this transitional period, I look forward to supporting you on your academic journey here in the Faculty of Social Sciences. We want to ensure you are aware of your academic resources going forward.
If your issue is time sensitive, we offer Social Science Live Chat for quick questions that may not require the help of an Academic Counsellor but can point you in the right direction.
If you have a single question or point of clarification that requires the expertise of an Academic Counsellor, please attend one of our Virtual Drop-In Sessions on Zoom.
All other questions and concerns can be submitted through the Help Portal.
General inquiries regarding OSAP, tuition payment, course registration, etc., can be directed through the Western Live Chat.
For students planning to continue in a Brescia module
You can connect with me for academic advising support during this transitional period. For questions or requests related to academic consideration, special permissions, degree requirements, booking a 20-minute advising appointment, etc., please reach out via the Help Portal, and your request will be triaged to me as the Brescia Advisor.
For students who have been admitted into a pre-existing Western Social Science module
You will work with a member of the Social Science Academic Counselling team for support moving forward, and can reach them via the Help Portal.
Wishing you all the best in the year ahead, and I look forward to working with you!
Take care,
Mary Ann
